**Contains some spoilers** This book contains adult situations. I would advise you not to read it unless you are over the age of 18. Description of book from Amazon: FBI Special Agent Paige Carson hoped she'd be able to start a new life in small-town South Carolina. But when a senator's sister is murdered and a blank postcard is left next to the body, Paige realizes that a killer from her past has found her--and is sending her a very personal message. From the moment he hired her, FBI Special Agent in Charge Sam McKade knew Paige was hiding something. Prompted by this recent threat, she finally opens up: one year ago, she caught the eye of suspected serial killer Todd Thames. Now he's come back to pull her into his game, whether she wants to play or not. As the danger increases, Paige and Sam give in to their growing attraction, and he vows to protect her no matter the cost. But the murderer will stop at nothing to get to his intended prey, and the strong arm of the law--and the shelter of her new love--may not be enough to save her. Review: FBI Special Agent Paige Carson is on the run. She's not in trouble, she's on a run for her life. A year ago, Paige was tracking a killer and got in the middle of a situation with him. Since then, he has been contacting her with post cards, letting her know that no matter where she goes, he knows where she is. There is no physical evidence that says it is him sending the postcards, but she know it is him, Todd Thames. No one in the FBI believes that Thames is targeting Paige and they feel she is just looking for attention. Paige moves to South Carolina with her sister, Ivy, to work in a smaller FBI office, hoping to stay under the radar. She beings working for FBI Special Agent in Charge Sam McKade. Sam is a divorced father who is just getting through life. When Thames gets out of jail because of a problem with the evidence in his case, Paige knows he is going to try and find her. When a woman turns up dead in a local park, Paige knows Thames has found her. How? He left a postcard by the body. Sam can tell that something about this new case is affecting Paige but she won't open up to him. After a while, Sam and Paige become close and she decides to confide in him. Sam believes Paige and wants to help her prove that Thames is after her. Sam and Paige try to track Thames but keep coming up empty until one day Thames calls Paige and tells her he has someone that means something to her. Paige knows the only way to keep that person from getting hurt is to give herself to Thames. Once Paige is with Thames, can she survive or will she fall victim to his torture before Sam can find her? Overall thoughts: I really enjoyed the story line. Some parts were a bit predictable but others kept you guessing. I loved the way the relationship between Sam and Paige progressed overtime instead of them falling in love on day one. I think that the story went at a good pace and I don't feel that anything was rushed or dragged out. Overall, I really enjoyed the book and plan to read other titles by this author. Rating: 4/5 stars

On this page I will be writing book reviews to books that I have read. Most of the books are either romance or mystery. Some of the books are for an age of 18+ and I will post that in my narrative about the book.
